We are pleased to invite you to the international conference “Risks Generated by Climate Change on the Grand Site de la Conca d’Oru” co-organized by Etudes et Chantiers Corsica and the Grand Site de la Conca d’Oru as part of the PRO.GRE.S.S. project (CERV program).

The event will take place online on September 29, 2023, at 10:30 AM. 

This conference will be a moment of sharing knowledge and enlightening perspectives on important environmental topics. It will explore challenges and solutions related to fire risk prevention, examine the impact of climate change on biodiversity, and study considerations surrounding viticultural and winemaking practices in the face of climate transformation. An informative summary from the Director of the Grand Site de la Conca d’Oru will provide a comprehensive overview.

EVENT DESCRIPTION SHEET

The conference was held as an online event with a duration of 60 minutes. 138 participants from the four countries involved in the project attended the Conference (Spain, France, Greece and Italy). In order to facilitate the participation of local communities from all territories involved in the project, two types of measures were carried out to overcome language and ICT barriers:
● On the one hand, simultaneous interpretation was provided from French into Spanish, Greek and Italian. *
● On the other hand, a meeting room was made available in the municipalities of Bastia, EU Grants: Event description sheet (CERV): V1.0 – 01.04.2022Porto Vecchio, and in thus anyone who needed could follow The conference from the 2 meeting rooms gathered 43 people that took advantage of these facilities.
